From April 7 to 10, 2026, the 35th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition (China Glass 2026) was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

Founded by the Chinese Ceramic Society in 1986, China Glass has developed over four decades from a professional technical exchange platform into one of the key international platforms connecting China's glass industry with the global market.

Over the past 40 years, China's glass industry has undergone a remarkable transformation—from technology introduction to independent innovation, and from rapid capacity expansion to high-quality development.

More Than 90,000 Square Meters: Global Glass Industry Leaders Gather in Shanghai

The 35th edition covered more than 90,000 square meters of exhibition space, occupying seven halls—N1 to N5, W4 and W5—at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

A total of 889 exhibitors from 31 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, including 697 domestic exhibitors and 192 international exhibitors.

Traditional glass-industry powerhouses such as Germany and Italy once again presented their technologies through national and regional groups, showcasing advanced glass production equipment, processing technologies, intelligent manufacturing systems and sustainable production solutions.

The international presence of the exhibition further strengthened its role as a global platform for technology exchange, product presentation, business negotiations and industrial cooperation.

China Glass 2026 attracted 147,575 professional visits from 138 countries and regions, including 17,885 overseas visitors.

Visitors represented more than 30 downstream application sectors, including photovoltaics, construction, automotive, information displays and home appliances.
